Ambipar Alvarez & Marsal restructuring

By Brazil Stock Guide – Ambipar Participações e Empreendimentos S.A. (AMBP3) said its board of directors approved changes to the company’s executive management as the environmental services group continues to operate under judicial recovery. The board confirmed the departure of Ricardo Rosanova Garcia from the role of investor relations officer and appointed Renato Ferreira dos Santos to the position.

The decision is part of a broader management reshuffle following the end of the 2023–2026 statutory term for the executive board. In the same meeting, directors approved the reappointment of chief executive officer Tercio Borlenghi Junior and chief financial officer Thiago da Costa Silva, alongside Renato Ferreira dos Santos as head of investor relations. Guilherme Patini Borlenghi was reconfirmed as chief operating officer, while Isabel Cristina Monteiro Souza remains deputy director.

All executives were appointed with a unified mandate running until the first board meeting following the annual shareholders’ assembly that will review the company’s 2028 financial statements. Ambipar said the nominations comply with its formal governance and executive appointment policies and are subject to the execution of the required terms of office under Novo Mercado rules.

The company entered judicial recovery after losses stemming from derivatives transactions. The losses were linked to hedging operations conducted under former chief financial officer João Arruda, who has since left the company.
