By Brazil Stock Guide – The RDG Sinop consortium has won the auction for Mato Grosso’s Lot 6 road concession, held at B3 in São Paulo on Thursday (30), according to Agência iNFRA. The group secured victory with a 13.81% discount on the base toll rate, outbidding two rival bidders in a competitive process.
The concession covers 634.35 kilometers across the MT-020, MT-140, MT-225, MT-244, and MT-251 highways. It includes operation, maintenance, and road improvements valued at R$ 2.7 billion ($490 million), plus an additional R$ 2.5 billion in operational costs over the concession period.
Competitive Bidding Process
Three consortia entered the auction, but only two advanced to the live-bidding phase.
RDG Sinop, formed by Terracom Concessões e Participações, Construtora Kamilos, Estrutural Concessões de Rodovias, Elenco Participações, and Vale do Rio Novo Engenharia e Construções, presented the highest discount and secured the contract.
The runner-up, Rota Multimodal CS Infra, comprising CS Infra SA, MT Sul Construções Ltda, and TPI Triunfo Participações e Investimento (TPIS3), bid a 13.31% discount but did not improve its offer during the live session.
The third participant, Rota Multimodal Nova MT, made up of Neo Invest SA, Guaxe Construtora, and Galápagos Participações, proposed an 8.49% discount, falling short of the final round.
