By Brazil Stock Guide – Simpar SA (B3: SIMH3) said on Monday (8) that it has closed the sale of 100% of Ciclus Ambiental SA to a wholly owned subsidiary of Aegea Saneamento e Participações SA. The disclosure, originally published in the company’s regulatory filing, confirms that all conditions for completion have been met.

According to the filing, the adjusted equity value of the deal reached R$1.085 billion, with R$769.4 million paid on Monday. Two remaining installments of R$158 million each will be due in April 2026 and April 2027, indexed at 100% of CDI until maturity.

Simpar said the divestment aligns with its strategy to maximize value creation through disciplined capital allocation and its proprietary management model. The company stated that the return achieved demonstrates its ability to generate shareholder value across businesses of different sizes and operational maturity levels.
