ViaQuatro to invest R$677 million in Line 4

São Paulo Line 4 concessionaire will fund signaling and safety certification for the planned extension to Taboão da Serra.

By Brazil Stock Guide – ViaQuatro, the concessionaire for São Paulo Metro Line 4, agreed to take on R$676.8 million ($125 million) in investments tied to the planned extension of the line to Taboão da Serra.

The agreement, signed with the state of São Paulo, covers the deployment of the signaling system and the hiring of safety certification services for the extension. The state transport regulator Artesp acted as intervening party, while Companhia Paulista de Parcerias, known as CPP, gave its consent.

The commitment was formalized through Amendment 11 to the concession contract. The company said the obligations follow the terms set out in Amendment 10.

The investment amount totals R$676,761,955.36, with a February 2026 base date. The concessionaire said the economic and financial rebalancing in its favor will be carried out through a capital contribution.

ViaQuatro is part of Motiva Infraestrutura de Mobilidade SA, which trades in São Paulo under the ticker MOTV3. Motiva has been consolidating its urban mobility, toll-road and airport operations under its new corporate brand after the rebranding of Grupo CCR.

The company said the signing of the amendment reflects its partnership with the state government and reinforces its commitment to urban mobility infrastructure in Brazil.

The filing was signed in São Paulo on June 15 by Antonio Marcio Barros Silva, chief executive officer and investor relations officer of Concessionária da Linha 4 do Metrô de São Paulo S.A.
