By Brazil Stock Guide – PetroReconcavo (B3: RECV3) increased its November output to 25,100 boe/day, up 1% from October, as workovers in the Bahia Asset and early stabilization from the Tiê reinjection program offset weaker performance in the Potiguar region. The gain reinforces the company’s reliance on reservoir-recovery strategies to sustain mature onshore fields.
The Bahia Asset delivered 12,700 boe/day, up 2.7% from the previous month, including 6,500 bbl/day of oil and 6,200 boe/day of gas. Oil rose 1.2% following workovers at the Remanso cluster, while the reinjection program at Tiê continued to repressurize the reservoir, with injected volumes exceeding produced volumes since late September. Gas output climbed 4.4% after interventions in Miranga.
Production in the Potiguar Asset reached 12,500 boe/day, down 0.7% month-on-month. Oil edged up 0.7% to 8,000 bbl/day after repairs and well returns in Riacho da Forquilha, but gas volumes dropped 3% due to high-flow well failures and stabilization effects after prior workover flushes in Sabiá and surrounding fields.
