Banco do Brasil Agrishow credit

By Brazil Stock Guide – Brazil’s Banco do Brasil SA (BBAS3 BZ) expects to generate about 3 billion reais ($600 million) in credit proposals during the Agrishow event in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo state, running from April 26 to May 1.

The estimate covers financing requests tied to investments in agricultural machinery, storage infrastructure, irrigation and technology, spanning family farms, mid-sized producers and large-scale agribusiness operations.

The bank plans to offer key credit lines such as Moderfrota, Pronamp Investimento and Pronaf Mais Alimentos, aimed at funding the purchase of machinery and equipment. For storage projects, it will provide access to the PCA program, which supports the construction and expansion of warehouses.

In addition, Banco do Brasil is promoting credit lines focused on innovation and sustainability, including Inovagro and RenovAgro, which finance technology adoption, no-till farming and pasture recovery.

For the 2026/2027 crop season, the lender will extend financing under Brazil’s Plano Safra framework, with interest rates starting at 8% per year for mid-sized producers and 11% for large agribusiness clients. Family farmers will have access to subsidized rates under dedicated programs.
