Anima posts 2025 profit growth as revenue tops R$4B

Brazil’s Anima Educação reports higher revenue, EBITDA and cash generation in 2025 while lowering leverage to 2.49x.

By Brazil Stock Guide – Brazilian education company Ânima Holding SA (B3: ANIM3) reported revenue growth and stronger profitability in 2025, supported by gains across its core, digital learning and medical education segments.

Consolidated net revenue rose 5.8% year over year to R$4.02 billion, while adjusted EBITDA excluding IFRS-16 reached R$1.21 billion, an 11.2% increase compared with 2024.

Net income attributable to controlling shareholders totaled R$123.8 million in 2025, representing 45.3% growth year over year, even as financial expenses increased during the period.

Fourth-quarter revenue growth

In the fourth quarter, the company reported net revenue of R$972.3 million, an 8.6% increase from the same period a year earlier.

Adjusted EBITDA excluding IFRS-16 rose 16.8% year over year to R$261.9 million, with margin expansion to 26.9%, reflecting operational improvements and stronger segment performance.

Segment performance

The Ânima Core segment recorded a 7% increase in student attraction, supported by higher average tuition levels and a focus on improving revenue quality.

The digital education segment posted 10.9% revenue growth in 2025, reflecting changes in course offerings and higher ticket prices.

The Inspirali medical education platform reported 9.8% revenue growth, driven by both a larger student base and higher average tuition.

Cash generation and leverage

Operational cash generation reached R$1.49 billion in 2025, representing a 15.3% increase compared with 2024.

At the same time, the company reduced leverage. Net debt to adjusted EBITDA fell to 2.49x at the end of 2025, down from 2.80x a year earlier, supported by stronger operating cash flow.

Investments and strategic initiatives

Capital expenditures totaled R$217.3 million in 2025, equivalent to 5.4% of net revenue, with investments focused on technology systems, infrastructure and educational platforms.
