Prio Wahoo production

By Brazil Stock Guide – Prio SA (PRIO3) said Monday (6) it has stabilized production at 10,000 barrels of oil per day from the third producing well at the Wahoo field in Brazil’s Campos Basin, marking another step in the phased development of the offshore asset.

The company also reduced flow rates from previously drilled wells, limiting total field output to 32,000 barrels per day. The adjustment reflects a reservoir management strategy aimed at optimizing long-term recovery and maintaining operational efficiency.

Prio plans to bring a fourth well online by the end of April, which is expected to raise the field’s production ceiling to 40,000 barrels per day. The controlled ramp-up underscores the company’s approach to balancing output growth with reservoir performance.

Wahoo is one of Prio’s key development projects in the Campos Basin, a mature but still strategic offshore region for Brazil’s oil industry.
