By Brazil Stock Guide – Hapvida Participações e Investimentos SA (HAPV3.SA) expanded its healthcare network in São Paulo state this month with the opening of five new outpatient clinics, reinforcing its growth strategy in Brazil’s largest private healthcare market.
The new facilities are expected to serve about 9,600 patients per month. Four clinics were opened in the city of São Paulo, while a fifth began operations in Campinas, an important economic hub in the interior of the state.
In São Paulo, Hapvida launched clinics in the Itaim Bibi, Mooca and Interlagos neighborhoods, as well as a large flagship unit in Vila Mazzei. The Vila Mazzei facility is designed as a reference center and will offer a broad range of specialties, including cardiology, general practice, clinical and surgical dermatology, gynecology, orthopedics and traumatology, pediatrics, psychiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and metabolism.
The Campinas clinic has 10 medical offices and capacity to handle up to 8,800 patient visits per month. Services at the unit include gastroenterology, clinical and surgical dermatology, gynecology, obstetrics and prenatal care, neurology, general surgery procedures and dermatological procedures. Patients will also be able to undergo laboratory sample collection and Pap smear tests at the facility.
The expansion underscores Hapvida’s focus on strengthening its proprietary healthcare network as part of its vertically integrated care model, aimed at increasing capacity and improving access for plan members across key urban markets.
