By Brazil Stock Guide – RD Saúde SA (RADL3), Brazil’s largest pharmacy chain operator, said Thursday (12) it will invest 100 million reais ($20 million) to build a new distribution center in the southern state of Paraná as the company expands its logistics infrastructure to support network growth.
The facility will be located in Londrina and will have approximately 18,000 square meters of storage area with capacity to hold up to 20 million items. The company expects the distribution center to begin operations in 2027.
The project strengthens RD Saúde’s logistics footprint in Paraná, where the retailer already operates a distribution hub in São José dos Pinhais. The new unit is intended to enhance supply efficiency for pharmacies in the region and support continued store expansion.
RD Saúde currently operates 15 distribution centers across Brazil, supplying more than 3,500 pharmacies in 663 cities. The company operates the Raia and Drogasil brands, which together form the country’s largest drugstore network.
In March 2026, the Raia banner reached 200 stores in Paraná. Over 23 years of operations in the state, RD Saúde has expanded its presence to 45 cities, reflecting the growing importance of the region within the company’s national growth strategy.
